Sophie and I had been planning Oscar's 9th Birthday for a while. Here is the list we came up with:

Yesterday we went to visit our friends Rose and Alison and, as always, we did a lot of exploring.
First we found some dinosaur tracks.

Baking fun: Clementine cake

I found this clementine cake recipe on Pinterest and have been making it at least every other week.
First gather all the ingredients, plus a cute little helper.

Ingredients: Boiled clementines, sugar, almond meal, eggs and baking powder.

A present for baby brother

The most practical item of clothing for newborns, in my opinion, is a plain kimono shirt. Sophie was born in September, so at least her whole first month of life she was dressed only in a kimono shirt and a diaper. To make it a little bit more special, Sophie painted one of these for her baby brother.
