So we decided to revamp it, and bring it from drab to fab!
I thought we could glitter up the smaller house.
And Sophie thought the stones could get some of that too. A bold choice, I know, but it worked.
Then we planted some pretty flowers to make it more lively. Sophie thought it was a very serious job.
No, not really.
With the help of our friend, the glue gun, I made a slide out of sticks and a piece of a coffee can, and we used a wooden block as a bridge.
And then we set out to play.
Word of the new fairy garden must have spread around fast, because soon there were some woodland creatures visiting.
And later in the day, when Sophie was taking a nap, a few of my vinyl toys strapped on some wings to pretend they were fairies, and jumped in to have some wonderful afternoon fun.
Hope you find inspiration from our garden, and if you want to check out the best of the best, go to The Magic Onions, where you can also enter the Fairy garden competition!
Cheers and happy gardening,
