On the first day of Spring,
nature sent to us
a thick layer of pollen and bad allergies.
On the second day of Spring,
nature sent to us
a little bird in the chimney,
and a thick layer of pollen and bad allergies.
On the third day of Spring,
nature sent to us
a silly bird banging our window,
a little bird in the chimney,
and a thick layer of pollen and bad allergies.
On the fourth day of Spring,
nature sent to us
bad colds for all,
a silly bird banging our window,
a little bird in the chimney,
and a thick layer of pollen and bad allergies.
... so, our plan to take Sophie to her (and my) first egg hunt on Saturday morning got coughed down. I am glad we had done a practice egg hunt the day before, though.
I made some improvised fake eggs out of an egg carton and some tape and stickers, and a friend came by just at that time to drop a ginormous egg (that is what it was called) and a bunny for Sophie, so it was all very Easter-y.
It is not fun being 39 weeks pregnant and sick, but I am lucky to have Sophie to make me feel better (when she is not coughing on my face).
Cheers, and Happy Easter,
Gaby
