We are getting ready for our big trip to Argentina, where we will be joined by the whole New Zealand (and more) crew. Cannot wait to see everyone (I just wish somebody would do the packing for me!).

Reindeer-ing

Finally! After saving these leaves for weeks and weeks and waiting for Sophie to get into 'reindeer-ing' mode, this morning everything somehow fell into place and we transformed some of her little animals into reindeer :)

This weekend the hubs took Sophie to the museum and I finally managed to put up our Christmas tree branch!

There's a WHAT in your petting zoo?

When I think of petting zoos I think bunnies, teacup pigs (how I would love to see one of those!), chicks, baby goats... but never, ever, would I think of a CAMEL, not unless it is an Egyptian petting zoo!

Illustration Friday: 'Brigade'

This was the sketch I made when I first thought of Illustration Friday's topic for this week:

I had to wait forever for Sophie to go to bed, and she has been waking me up just after 5:00 am lately, so I am happy that I managed to do something!
